Each family has their own unique set of challenges, especially if differences in sensory integration and processing (SIP) are present. More importantly, each family has their own unique set of strengths, including their spirituality. Traditional approaches for this condition often overlook spirituality as a strength in guiding actions and generating solutions. Throughout the coaching process, Heidi intentionally provides space for a family's reliance on this strength to equip, empower, and encourage them in overcoming their unique challenges.

Faith-Based Mentoring for Professionals

Professionals supporting families experiencing SIP challenges find community beneficial in remaining current when appraising the ever-expanding evidence related to this condition. Professionals also need to recharge, receive encouragement, and find space to refresh for effective use of therapeutic-self. Heidi provides small communities of professionals in which SIP mentoring is balanced with relaxation, prayer, networking, and socialization.
